Kim Wilson is the Director of Sustainability at McLaren Racing. An experienced senior sustainability professional with over 20 years of experience, Kim leads the team’s efforts to champion the innovation that will help transition to a more inclusive, net zero, circular world.
Prior to her role at McLaren, Kim worked for EDF for over a decade where she helped spearhead their sustainable business agenda, going on to lead the sustainability programme underpinning the energy giant’s ‘Helping Britain Achieve Net Zero’ campaign.
Joining McLaren Racing in January 2022, Kim has already begun embedding sustainability into the culture and decision making of the team. She was integral to the creation of McLaren Racing’s 2021 Sustainability Report, released in June 2022, and is continuing to guide the brand towards its goals of halving carbon emissions by 2030 and reaching net zero by 2040, in line with the UN’s Sports for Climate Action Framework target.
