Joanna started working with CAFE in 2014 and was made Managing Director two years later.
As a UEFA Football and Social Responsibility Partner, CAFE uses the power of football to improve the rights of disabled people, so that they can take their rightful places in the game, whether as spectators, players, coaches, administrators, leaders, or decision makers. Joanna has supported the integration of accessibility requirements at FIFA and UEFA tournaments and assessed footballing infrastructure across the globe.
She has contributed to the Council of Europe Standing Committee of the 1985 European Convention on Spectator Violence (T-RV) Recommendations and the International WELL Building Institute’s WELL Health-Safety Rating. In 2018, Joanna organised the largest European conference on access and inclusion in football.
