Norsk Bilsport: NBF at the Sport Positive Summit
Last week, NBF’s environmental and sustainability advisor Michał Grzela participated in the Sport Positive Summit in London.
The Norwegian Motorsport Association recognizes the role of motorsport in combating climate change, and actively explores effective strategies to become more sustainable, as well as contribute to sustainable social development.
Through knowledge exchange and collaboration, we will ensure that motorsport remains relevant in the 21st century, and is perceived as an ally of the environment, rather than an enemy.
– We are proud to share this approach with key players in motorsport, including the FIA, Formula E, Extreme E, McLaren and Williams Racing, who were also present in London, says Michał Grzela.
Sport Positive Summit is the leading global Summit bringing together sports stakeholders from all over the world to support the acceleration of positive climate action and ambition, to safeguard the future of global sport.
In collaboration with UNFCCC Global Climate Action and the International Olympic Committee, the outcomes of the Summit are aligned to the Sport for Climate Action Framework principles; providing a supportive platform where sport can learn from each other, disseminate good practices, develop new tools and bolster collaboration within areas of mutual interest.
