My role is a Sustainability Development Assistant for Cambridge United Community Trust. I oversee the goals and sustainable projects that the Trust chooses to embark on. I have worked collaboratively with my team in sustainable projects in the Trust, for example seeing our first Carbon Literacy project training delivered to ensure we are understand the science-based knowledge in sustainability, empowering the Club in sustaining green actions and writing and evaluating a guideline that will assist in achieving green actions that are achievable long-term.
I am passionate about young people and the next generation. I believe we are to set up a good foundation for the next generation to excel. I have seen Youth-Development research that shows the growth of young people when empowered and given the right tools to excel. We can do more when we work together as a community. Sustainability helps us learn how to access change and making it accessible to all and bridge the gap for growth to continue.
