Sport Positive Summit 2023 Dates and Location Announced
26 January 2023, London: Sport Positive Summit 2023 will take place on 3-4 October at the Kia Oval, London. Sport Positive Summit is the largest global meeting place for the international sports community to come together to share good practice and ideas as well as network with global colleagues with a focus on sustainability, climate change, environmental justice and biodiversity, in collaboration with UNFCCC and International Olympic Committee.
Now in its fourth year, the Summit continues to grow, bring new sub-sectors of the industry to the discussions and sit at the heart of increasing action and ambition on climate change within sport globally.
Following a hugely successful Summit in 2022 at Wembley Stadium, organisers looked to fresh locations to support the expanding agenda and the Kia Oval fitted the bill perfectly. The Summit will move out of London to another European city in 2024.
Speaking of the 2023 Summit, founder and CEO Claire Poole commented, “After the success of 2022 we have taken feedback on board and are growing the Summit to enable more training sessions and workshops, concurrent conference streams to provide more high level content, whilst keeping ample time for networking and more informal connections to be made. The Kia Oval’s space is perfect to execute this plan to the highest level, and we are also

Sport Positive Summit organisers are working hard on the agenda, the first look of which will be out in March 2023, but they can share that the key core topics will feature again to support sport’s journey within sustainability, but with a heightened focus on application of good sustainability practices; commercial angles; procurement; environmental justice; biodiversity, risks, vulnerabilities and legal aspects as well as driving collective action.
