As the Sustainability Lead for NBA Europe & Middle East (EME), Shari Ramday is driving the NBA’s sustainability efforts in the EME region in support of the league’s commitment to the United Nations Sport for Climate Action framework. Drawing from over a decade of NBA event management experience spanning grassroots events to a host of Global Games in multiple markets, Shari is now leading all efforts to identify and implement the changes necessary to reduce carbon emissions and enhance positive environmental and social impact throughout the region.
Prior to the NBA, Shari worked at the Premier League Charitable Fund, established to distribute Premier League and partner funding to community projects focused on creating positive sporting, health, personal and education opportunities for all. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sports science from the University of Edinburgh and a master’s degree in business management from the University of London. Shari is passionate about the power of sport to drive positive environmental and social change and is determined to contribute towards leaving a positive legacy for future generations.
