Born and raised in the Dolomites. Environmental sociologist with a master’s degree in urban planning. Since 2001 she has been involved in environmental and social sustainability aspects for the organising committees of major international events: Winter Olympics, Asian Games, Universiade, Expo, World Ski Championships.
Among her most recent assignments, from 2018 to 2021 she was Sustainability Director for the World Alpine Ski Championships Cortina 2021. For two years she was Head of Sustainability for Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, the organising committee for the next Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Italy. In July 2023, she decided to join the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) and became its first Sustainability Director.
Currently within FIS, she is working on the implementation of the IMPACT Programme – a roadmap to a more sustainable and inclusive snow sports ecosystem, dealing with issues such as the reduction of CO2 emissions, the protection of nature and biodiversity, and the circular economy.
