Emilien Gasc
Emilien Gasc is the counsellor for climate and environment at the Delegation of the European Union to the United Kingdom. He follows the implementation of the Brexit treaties as regards the environmental level-playing field, and liaises with UK civil servants and stakeholders. He was previously based in Brussels with the European Commission’s Secretariat General, working on delivery of the European Green Deal, and with the Environment and Employment services respectively.
Before joining the European Union institutions, Emilien was a consultant with the International Energy Agency and a policy advocate for the European federation of independent consumer organisations. Emilien comes from Brittany and is a graduate of Sciences Po Rennes and Paris in France.
