Selina Donald
Selina is an award-winning leader focused on sustainability, environmental management and climate change, with expertise in high-profile events. Her epiphany moment came while working on the London 2012 Opening and Closing Ceremonies, which served as memorable bookends for the iconic London Games. As well as the Games, Selina has been part of other high-profile projects, including the England 2018 World Cup Bid, COP, the Rio Olympics 2016 and March4Women, as well as leading the sustainability strategy for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
The Bulb is part of the Trivandi company group and provides expertise across the globe on sustainability and legacy for sporting industry, venues and major events. Under Selina’s leadership, The Bulb has created and implemented award-winning sustainability strategies on a global scale, working across the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Japan. Achievements include, consultancy to the world’s biggest climate change event, COP28, an ISO-certified strategy spanning four continents, and leading the sustainability strategy for award winning brand activations for Sky, Google, Verizon and Microsoft.
Selina has been included in the ENDS Power List UK Top 100 Influential Environmentalists 2025, and sits on the board of industry leading organisations, isla and NOWIE. She regularly speaks at events on a number of topics including circular economy and sustainability trends.

From determining which scheme is best suited to an organisation’s goal, through training, and to achieving certification against a chosen sustainability scheme/s, Vicki is responsible for empowering companies to succeed throughout the process.

Sport England is the arms-length body of government responsible for growing and developing grassroots sport and getting more people active across England. We’re here to invest in sport and physical activity to make it a normal part of life for everyone in England, regardless of who you are. Because it’s not always a level playing field.
We have launched our sustainability strategy, ‘Every Move’ which sets out how we will improve our environmental performance and support the sector to do the same, enabling greater opportunity for all people to participate in sport and physical activity, now and in the future.

Claire is the CEO and Founder of Sport Positive, supporting the global sports industry to increase action and ambition on climate change, sustainability, biodiversity and environmental justice; through direct support, community creation, the annual Sport Positive Summit, Sport Positive Leagues and The Climate of Sport podcast.
Sport Positive Summit is the annual award-winning, leading global meeting place for sports effecting positive environmental impacts, in collaboration with UNFCCC and the International Olympic Committee. Sport Positive Leagues rank and highlight environmental sustainability efforts of top flight sports organisations, to drive industry progress.
In 2017 she was cited as doing ‘more than anyone alive to mobilize convocations for sustainability advocates throughout the sport world’ and in 2022 she appeared on Sport Business Journal’s ‘Influential Executives To Know in Sports Sustainability’ list. Her views and work have been covered by BBC Sport, Sky Sports News, The Mirror, BT Sport, Euronews, The Independent, Reuters, The Times, The New York Times, The Nikkei, The Japan Times, Forbes, The Athletic, Rouleur, Euractiv, Ecolospot and more. She is a frequent keynote speaker and chairperson at industry conferences.
Additionally Claire is an Advisory Board Member for Ecoathletes, Athletes of the World and The Sport Ecology Group; Advisory Committee Member for The Council for Responsible Sport’s Standard for Organisations and IWBI’s WELL Advisory on Sports and Entertainment Venues. She sits on the UEFA Environment Steering Group and is also part of the albert Sports Consortium, for sports broadcasters to tackle their environmental footprint.
